Design Features of Hayward Tyler Vertical Turbine Pumps
The VS range was designed specifically for the nuclear industry and offers three different impeller types. Each impeller type provides a different head-capacity curve, ranging from a steep to a flatter curve, depending on system requirements.

- Constantly rising head curve
- Replaceable wear rings with various material options
- Seismically designed
- Available with or without product lubricated bearings
- Available as open pit or canned design
- Variety of materials available, including super austenitic and super duplex
- Available with suction-encased impeller end for application with low NPSHa
