Our deepwater subsea motors are some of the world’s most advanced, built to the highest standards to provide exceptional performance and reliability at depths up to 3000m. Our engineered designs can operate continuously with proven 8-year service intervals. All of our Subsea Motors have the following key features and can be customized to the specific project:
- 1MW-6MW and 6.6kV-11kV options
- Environmentally safe
- Capable of operating up to 3,000m and at speeds up to 6,000rpm
- Qualified subsea penetrator for ROV connection
- Wet-wound, water/glycol filled motor prevents catastrophic failures
- Enclosed to IP68
- Independently qualified cable jointing method
- Internal pressure compensator provides positive motor pressure
- 8+ year service intervals (tested to perform up to 40,000 hours)
- Latest T3 product lubricated bearings (radial and thrust)
- Integral thrust bearing/aux. impeller for improved cooling
- Reliable and low-maintenance
- Condition monitoring packages available
