In recognition of over 25 years of co-operation between the Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation & the Hayward Tyler Group and to celebrate Hayward Tyler’s 200 years birthday a delegation of senior executives from SEC have visited the Hayward Tyler Group Headquarters in Luton, England to view the Group’s recently developed Centre of Excellence (COE) for the manufacture of mission critical pumps & motors for the Power Generation & Oil & Gas Industries.
Since our association SEC has placed orders with Hayward Tyler for more than 400 Glandless Boiler Circulation Pumps valued at over USD140 Million.
Current contracts between the two organisations include pumps for power stations being constructed at:-
- Jia Hu Wan
- Yan Tai Ba Jiao
- Nanyang
- Zhang Ze
The two groups are also co-operating on the development of a number of Solar Energy projects through Shanghai Electric BrightSource Solar Energy Co; Ltd.
Mr Li Jianjin indicated during the meeting SEC’s wish to strengthen & broaden the co-operation between the two companies & urged closer communication, regular visits and open thinking to explore the mutual strategic interests of both groups. He extended an invitation to Mr Ewan Lloyd-Baker to visit SEC in Shanghai later this month to continue this dialogue.
