careers-uk@haywardtyler.comAs a UK and Ireland Sales Manager, you will be responsible for delivering contract awards, achieving set targets and preserving a high level of customer service as part of key account management. Furthermore, you will develop and maintain customer relationships with existing accounts with a view to securing new business.
What you will do:
• Sales management for the UK and Ireland for both original equipment (OE) and aftermarket (AM) segments.
• Plan and carry out direct marketing and sales activities to include sales exhibitions.
• Maintain and develop sales of new equipment, spare parts, repairs & field services for existing and new accounts in accordance with agreed business plans/HT divisional objectives. Promote value-added to customers at all stages of the selling cycle.
• Identify enquiries and follow the proposal process to ensure that the proposal is competitive, accurate and on time.
• Conduct site tours and develop supporting information for presentation to potential customers to assist in closing deals.
• Periodic review of sales marketing materials to provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure Salesforce system is kept up to date with timely sales trip reports, accurate pipeline data and customer/leads contact details. Maintain details and status of all assigned accounts in specified market/ territory. Maintain an accurate sales forecast and customer engagement/visit reporting.
• Daily follow-up of CRM tasks (from lead generation to closure of the opportunity and account management thereafter). Examples of information include competition analysis; cost estimates, delivery, warranty; lost sales review.
• Travel expected will be 50-75%, hence, flexible approach to hours and travel is required.
What you will need:
• University degree, preferably in engineering but not essential
• 5+ years’ experience working in a technical sales environment.
• Experience working with Motor or Pump OEM, EPCs (Pump experience is most preferred)
• Knowledge of HT products, markets and customers is desirable.
• Working knowledge of foreign languages would be an advantage.
