Hayward Tyler Opens New Chinese Factory

Hayward Tyler is pleased to announce that it formally opened its new, state of the art, 3, 250m² factory in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province, Peoples Republic of China.

Hayward Tyler, owned by Avingtrans plc, has been delivering high end equipment into China for over 40 years and has owned and operated a full scale service facility in Kunshan for the last 15 years.  The service facility successfully provided local support to the installed base of over 500 Boiler Circulating Pumps (BCPs) operating in China.  Hayward Tyler, the inventor of the wet wound submersible motor and the BCP, which incorporates this technology, has the biggest installed base of BCPs of any OEM globally and the largest concentration of these is in China.

As the world and China energy demand continues to increase, as reducing harmful emissions becomes increasingly important and as Chinese companies become stronger in the global market place, the opening of this factory and the ongoing localisation of Hayward Tyler’s capability is key strand to the business’ global strategy.  The new factory will provide existing Chinese customers with an enhanced local service capability as well as manufacturing a wider range of Hayward Tyler’s highly engineered products for the power generation, oil and gas and chemical industries, both in China and for the rest of the world.
