Our Region
Our site is located in East Kilbride—the largest town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, and only 12 kilometers from Glasgow. The town is rich in history and was named after the Celtic goddess Brigid.
Culture and arts enthusiasts will enjoy the internationally-inspired Dollan Aqua Centre, widely regarded as an outstanding and rare example of a mid-20th century public amenity. It was the first champion-sized pool in Scotland and was inspired by Pier Luige Nervi’s Olympic complex in Rome.
East Kilbride is also home to the National Museum of Rural Life and to the popular arts and performance venue, the East Kilbride Arts Centre, as well as the longstanding Village Theatre.
The town has a large shopping centre comprising six linked malls: The Plaza, Princes Mall, Southgate, Princes Square, Centre West, and The Hub.
Easy to access by public transportation, East Kilbride is home to a modern bus station with 14 rapid drive-through stances, allowing quick turnover of buses. The village also has a railway station, only a 10-minute walk from the bus station. Trains depart to Glasgow Central railway station every half-hour, with a journey time of about 27 minutes. The town is also served by Hairmyres railway station in the west end of the town.

Hayward Tyler’s facility near Glasgow is fully equipped to design, build, and test a wide range of canned motor pumps, gear pumps, valves, and fluid mixers that serve the nuclear, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, naval, and food industries.
Purchased by Hayward Tyler in 1999, our facility holds ISO9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 accreditation for quality, environmental, and health and safety.
We believe in ongoing employee development and operate an extensive training program to build and enhance our team members’ skills, ensuring our manufactured products and people are the best in the industry.
Work Experience
For many years, we have provided mentorship and training to recent university graduates, creating a pipeline for employment and a transition from academia to industry. We also operate an apprenticeship scheme, training engineers for their future careers.
