General Manager

Ratish Balachandran is Director and General Manager for Hayward Tyler’s India Operations. With expertise in regional market requirements, he leads a strong team that includes sales and field service, as well as rewind services for Hayward Tyler, KSB/Torishima, and V Flo brands.

Since 1990, Ratish has served in engineering and management roles for several leading industrial corporations, including KSB Pumps Limited, Kirloskar Brothers Limited, L&T, and National Engineering Industries Limited. He has also specialized in starting up businesses from inception.

Ratish joined Hayward Tyler in 2009 to spearhead the company’s expansion plans on the Indian subcontinent. Over the years, his responsibilities have included business development for the energy and oil & gas sectors, targeting customers such as BHEL, NTPC, State Electricity boards, ONGC, NPCIL, EIL, Reliance, Adani, BGR Energy, L&T, and Alstom.

An IIT Roorkee Engineering Graduate, Ratish is a trained CII-EXIM Assessor and has been rated highest in Competencies and Capabilities Development Centre by Hewitt Associates.

Ratish is a soccer enthusiast, and enjoys spending his free time helping India’s street animals.
