Hayward Tyler (HT) and Baker Hughes GE, Pumps, Valves and Systems (BHGE PVS) recently signed a channel partner agreement. The agreement covers centrifugal pump spare parts distribution and upgrade services in the UK and Ireland. In addition, HT will be the channel to market for BHGE PVS centrifugal pumps for the power generation market.
Enrico Mangialardo, BHGE PVS General Manager commented: “This agreement represents a key move for the PVS strategy to recover and increase penetration in the UK & Ireland markets. With a clear focus on spare parts and upgrade services on the BHGE pumps fleet; it also provides the right platform to expand PVS portfolio of multivendor services through injection of state-of-the-art pump technologies, granting in this way tangible benefits for our customers.
HT with its industrial power generation, market knowledge and worldwide footprint is also greatly positioned to support BHGE centrifugal pumps expansion in boiler feed applications through specifically designed skids. To better explain our relationship and engage properly with our customers, HT and BHGE will be meeting refineries and power plant operators starting from those based in UK.”
Colin Elcoate, Chief Commercial Officer of Avingtrans, added: “The signing of these agreements is an exciting and significant development for Hayward Tyler as we continue to build out the products and services we offer customers to enhance our value proposition for both new equipment and through life support. Our relationship with BHGE PVS opens up some exciting prospects and we are looking forward to starting meetings with target customers to introduce the benefits of the partnership”.
