Supercritical support for coal-fired power station

An additional €1.3 billion coal-fired supercritical unit withan installed capacity of 1,000MW has recently been built at Poland’s second largest power station, Kozienice, which  is owned by Elektrownia Wytwarzanie S.A. and has a total capacity of 2,820MW.
Main contractor Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe GmbH selected a Hayward Tyler BCP to act as a vital component during boiler start-up cycles. The pump has been designed and manufactured in strict compliance with EN Codes and Standards.
