careers@haywardtyler.comAs a Winder you will be able to read detailed engineering drawings, conduct root cause analysis and prepare stations for upcoming contracts.
• Jointing of wet wound motors up to 11kv.
• Pull through wet wound winding to electrical specifications and drawings.
• Tie in of windings.
• Short wind techniques (Basket Winding).
• Ferrule, hand tapped, and 3M scotch guard jointing.
• Moulded joints and use of Babyplast plastic injection moulding equipment.
• Flash testing of wound stators and connected stators up to 33kv.
• Production of Terminal Gland Mouldings.
• Ensure that Health & Safety, Quality and Environment assurance, control and regulatory compliance are demonstrated.
• Work within team and all cross functional teams to ensure contractual obligations are achieved Right First Time (RFT) and On Time in Full (OTIF).
• Ensure that regular 5S duties are carried out to sustain a clean environment.
What you will need:
• 2 Years’ experience in a manufacturing site.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Effective communication.
• Problem solving skills.
• Electrical health & safety awareness and electrical or mechanical NVQ qualification are desirable.
